What is Work Hive?

Work Hive is a shared office space in downtown Salt Lake City. Coworking allows independent workers, freelancers, and small businesses to share an office space for low cost and low overhead.  Work Hive provides everything you need to be more productive than working from home or in a coffee shop.  With a more professional and collaborative setting, most coworkers agree that the added productivity and focus more than pays for the cost of the membership.

Who works at Work Hive?

Our members come from all professions and industries, and cover a broad range of specialties. Some of us run our own small businesses, while some work remotely for companies in other cities. Some are freelance workers, and some are startups just looking for space to work in to get a project off the ground.  We all benefit from working around others, whether or not we work on the same type of work.

What’s included in memberships?

In addition to your own desk space (we provide all the furniture you’ll need) Work Hive’s studio offers the following shared office space amenities:

How do I get to the office?

Work Hive is located on the fifth floor of the Crane Building on the corner of 300 West and 200 South.  We are a four-minute walk from the Planetarium TRAX station, and have easy bus, bike, and car access.  There is a SLC Greenbike station across the street, and bike lanes connecting to the city’s extensive bike network.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Our full-time members have access to the office 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

How long are membership commitments?

       All memberships are a month-to-month contract and can be changed at any time.

Can I share a full time desk membership with more than one person?

No. All memberships are per person, but we can negotiate terms for multiple people from the same company to use the office.

Is there a price break for multiple memberships?

We offer a 25% discount on full-time memberships starting with a third membership for the same company.

Do you have private offices available?

Possibly. Our office has 11 private office spaces. Please call to check for availability. All private offices include full 24/7 office access.

 How large are your conference rooms?

Work Hive has four conference room spaces. We have two small conference rooms that are set up for four people. Our largest conference room can accommodate 20-25 people. All conference rooms have large white boards.  We have three conference rooms that also have a large monitor/screen for presentations.  Please call to check availability or to reserve.

What Internet speeds are provided?

We currently offer 100 mbps download and 65 mbps upload speeds.

Is parking available?

Clients and visitors can always park free at the Crane Building’s one-hour parking lot.  We can get a discounted monthly pass for the large parking lot next door for only $45.00 per month.
